Ethical Green Living

Two sites, one family, almost 20 years in the making

You may have found your way here from Keeper of the Home or from Nourishing Joy. Wherever you started, we’re glad you’re here — and we want you to know: you found a family.

Ethical Green Living is the home behind both sites. For nearly two decades, we’ve been helping families steward their homes, their health, and their daily choices with intention — not perfection, not trends, just practical, honest tools for living well.

It started small. Each site started because we wanted to help other moms like ourselves figure out how to actually feed our families real food, use natural remedies, and live with intention in a time when it felt hard to find information and support from other moms. Two communities grew out of that same instinct, and today they carry it forward in their own way.

Keeper of the Home

For the homemaker wearing a dozen hats.

Keeper of the Home is where stewardship meets the everyday — real food, natural remedies, gardening, frugal living, and honest encouragement for anyone doing the hard, holy work of running a household. It’s a community of writers in every season of life, sharing what actually works.

Nourishing Joy

For the family chasing a natural life without losing the joy in it.

Nourishing Joy exists to make non-toxic, intentional living feel simple instead of overwhelming — from essential oil safety and herbal remedies to real-food recipes and meal planning that actually gets dinner on the table. Practical tools, without the guilt.

What ties us together

Different voices, same conviction: your family deserves good information, not fear-mongering or perfection. We believe in real food over trends, non-toxic over convenient-but-harmful, and grace over guilt. Every family’s path looks different, and both of our sites are here to equip you for yours — wherever you’re starting from.

Thanks for being part of this journey with us, however you found your way here.
